FOOTBALL.

NEW ZEALAND RUGBY UNION. A meeting of the Now Zealand Rugby Union was held at the Trocadcro last night, Mr G. F. C. Campbell presiding. On the motion of Mr G. C. Faclia, seconded by Mr J. R. Gibbons, it was decided to alter bylaw 12 by adding the following words:—“And to answer nucstions forwarded as provided for in the regulations of the Referees’ Association of New, Zealand.” In reply to Mr Colley, the lion, secretary stated that tbo disqualification of Harris, Calnan and Roberts would expire on the 11th August. It was decided, on the motion of Mr Gibbons, .seconded by Mr A. M. Do Costa, that the alterations to the rules proposed by the AVellington Rugby Union be referred to the Appeal Committee for a, report to be presented before liie 9th Aligns!, so (bat the recommendations could bo forwarded to England in time for the meeting of the International Board in November.
