“a“" letter ffom Captain Loveday of the Heretaunga Mounted Rifles, was read at a meeting of the Petone Recreation Ground Committee last evening, asking for the use of the ground on November 9th (Prince of Wales Birthday) for the purposes of a military tournament. It was decided to grant the use of the ground at a_fee of £ls, the Council to retain the grandstapd.
