LIMITATION OF RESTRICTIONS. (Received May 20, 1 a.m.) LONDON, Friday. Tho Hon J. W. Taverner, Minister of Public Works for Victoria, who is now in London, has interviewed the Imperial authorities, and has arranged with the War Office that the restrictions recently imposed on the use of Australian leather should be limited to harness. Australian leather will otherwise be treated on its merits. The War Office has also promised to supply Mr Taverner with samples of the leather required for its purposes.
