THE POPE’S PRESENCE CRITICISED.
London. Monday.
The “ Daily News,” in an article on the Czar's disarmament scheme, says the idea of inviting the Pope, who is an entirely spiritual personage, to the Conference is novel and irrational. If tho Pope is invited, why not the Archbishop of Canterbury ?
