A QUARANTINED STEAMER.
NOT SMALLPOX, BUT CHICKENPOX. RELEASE OF GENERAL BOOTH. Perth, Monday. The disease which attacked one of the crew of the North German Lloyd’s steamer Prinz Regent Luitpold, and caused her to be placed in quarantine on arrival here from Europe, is officially pronounced not to be smallpox as at first supposed, but bhickonpox. General Booth, head of the Salvation Army, and other' passengers have consequently been released from quarantine.
