POLICEMAN JOHNS ACQUITTED. Pretoria, Sunday. The trial by the Transvaal High Court of the Policeman Johns, who was charged with having. murdered an Englishman, named Edgar, at Johannesburg at Christmas time, has; concluded, with the result that the accused has been acquitted.
