CRICKET.
A Wellington Club team played the Western Hutt Cricket Club at Belmont, yegtepday, the game resulting in a draw. Weilington scored 170 (S. Hickson, 72; WoonJ, 33; Pearce, 21), and Western Hutt replied with 133 for six wickets (Pringle, 50; Ecdmond, 47). Brice took six wickets for 48, and for Wellington Hoggard four for 46. The visitors-were very hospitably enter r toined by the local club. . Hawke s Bay s representative m the New Zealand team—H. B. Lusk—is to arrive from the North by the Flora to-day, m readiness to join the other members ot the combination. , *,
