Bg Telegraph.. —Press Association. Auckland. October 25. At a meeting of the Charitable Aid Board aletter wasreceivedfrom Mrs Grace Neill, from the Inspector-General’s office at Wellington, as follows: —“ As you are probably aware through the newspapers, an inmate of the Ohiro road Home died recently, leaving a large bequest to the matron and her daughters. I see that at a meeting of the Benevolent Trustees the ‘chairman is reported as saying that a precedent had been established for the Trustees’ action, in connection with the Costley Home. Would you tell me if the statement is correct, and whether Mr and Mrs Moss have benefited by a bequest from any of the inmates under their charge?” . Tgo chairman said he did not think there bad’been anything of the kind at the Costley Home. The letter has been referred to Mr Moss for an answer.
