GOLF.
A golf tournament was held at Miramar yesterday by the ladies of the Wellington Golf Club, to which the ladies of tne Hutt Club were invited. Very handsome trophies were kindly presented for competition by Mesdames H. B. Crawford and Adams, and the Misses Duncan and Williams. A scratch prize was won by Mrs Scales, of the Hutt Club, with a score of 114; Miss Una Williams winning the handicap with a score of 121 t handicap 30. net 91. Mrs Lees, with three excellent drives of 121, 114 and 117 yards, won the driving grize. Miss H. Williams tied with Mrs limie, of the Hutt, for the putting prize, Mrs CUmie winning the play-off.
