The 9000 acres in ihe Tokomaru valley is good, rough sheep country, and there is a road into the block from Shannon. The 8000 acres in Blocks 3 and 4, Waionehu, are also within easy distance of Shanpon, and contains some good timber country, and inquiries have recently been received by the Company from sawraillers and others, but the Directors have decided that this land shall again be thrown open to public tender before accepting any offers. The 4500 acres at To Horo adjoins the Government Block at Waikanaa. Thera is a road to this block from To H(ro station. Lithographic plans and conditions of sale of the above-mentioned lands can be obtained on application to the Secretary, at the Hoad Office of the Company, Wellington, or from any of the Company’e stationmaaters. Tenders will be accepted up to 5 p.m. on MONDAY, the 23td day of MAY, and must bo accompanied with a deposit of 10 per cent, of the purchase money.
