Mr Trank, Mayor of Nelson, accompanied by his wife, arrived hora by the Penguin at midnight last night. Mr W. W. ColUa?i, of Obristcharoh, wa3 lecturing at Anck’and on the SpaniahAmerioin war last week. Lord and Lsdy Raufurly will be at the Opera House to-morrow night, having given tbnic patronage to Mr Ourvard Lely’s performance for that evening. The Hon W, Itollestou ia nuking a satis* factory recovery from the accident he sustained at Christchurch a «.hort bit it will be two or three weess before he is able to get about again. Mr Andrew Collins, ex-president of the Trades and Labour Council, proposes to mske a visit to England shortly to see bis aged mother. Mr Ooliiaa w.il probably leave Wellington about a fortnight hence. The Mini-ter of Mines (H)n A, J, Cairn tn) will leave Wellington on Friday.
