Sir George Turner, in reply to a letter from Mr Baron in reference to Mr Reid’s suggestion that New South Wales should join the Federal Council if the Federal Bill be defeated, says it will be necessary to make radical changes in the constitution of the Council, which will probably meet with equally as strong objections as the present proposals.
