The 6.P.0., London, in 1895, in onebrsnch alone (Kegistry) had-eight shift-key and five ink-pad typewriters and only one Bar-Lock ; now they have 14 Bar-Looks, two ink-pad and eight shift-key machines. The London County, Council had two each of the above makes in 1895; now they have 13 Ear-Locks as against two ink-pad machines. The Sunlight Soap Company have 32 Bar-locks now as compared with one in 1896, when they had 13 machines of other makes. These are three instances but of many. Why this triumph of the Bar-Lock? Because everything is in sight, and it is the fastest, strongest and easier t machine in the market, and inoom2 parably the beat tabulator and mauifolder. Send for catalogue, E. J.
