ACCEPTANCES for all events due before 10 p.m. MONDAY, 18th January. No horse will be Handicapped until norninations'aro paid, and no horse will bo allowed to start until acceptance be paid. RULES AND REGULATIONS^ 1. All ponies (except those holding certificates) to bo measured before starting. 2. Previous performances of horses to be given at time of nomination, also colours of the riders. 3. The Committee or Stewards may call upon any owner to prove to their satisfaction the bona tides of his horse at any time, or in I any manner they may desire. In the event of their not being satisfied with the identity of any horse, they m*y refuse to allow him to start or take part in the meeting. 4. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. 5. All horses that have never started will be handicapped on the same mark. 6. All horses must bo ridden and driven out. If distanced by first horse, second and third money will be paid to the winner. 7. All protests to be accompanied by a fee of 2 sovs, to be forfeited if the protest is considered frivolous.

8. All disputes and objections arising out of the racing shall bo decided by a majority of the Stewards present, whoso decision shall be final, and shall not be questioned in any Court of Law. Entries only rec c ived on this condition. 9. Nominations must state the bona fide owner of horses. 30. No jockey will bo permitted to ride or drive unless in full jockey’s colours and , breeches. This rule will be strictly enforced. 11. Any jockey not weighing out within ten minutes after ringing of bell, or not returning saddle cloths immediately at the conclusion of an event, will be fined i-l Is, which will be strictly enforced.
