SAD DROWNING CASE.
A Brother's Bravery. . By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckl/nd, December 18. A little boy named Jeremiah Olive, sine years of age, was drowned while bathing at Helensville. Two boys, aged respectively 13 and 11 years, tried to rescue him, but failed. Hi* brother, 14 years,of age, on hearing the alarm, ran down the bank and jumped in with his clothes on, and reached deceased just as the latter’s head was coming to the surface. The drowning lad put his arms around his brother’s neck, but immediately afterwards let go and sank, and never roVe again. The jury expressed thfcit high opinion of the bravery of the boys who had attempted to rescue tho drowning child, especially his brother Samuel*
