SINKING OF THE OROTAVA.
Extraordinary Accident to the WeMnoari Australian Liner,

While tho Orient Steam Navigation Company’s Australian trader Orotava, 5552 tons, Captain Linklaler, was coating at Tilbury she listed to starboard, and tho port-holes being open sho filled rapidly, tho hull being submerged. Five of those on board wore drowned, tho water coming in so suddenly as to prevent their escape. ; ■ Deceived L'eceiebcr lh, 0 p.ra. London, December 15.
Three hundred men wore engaged in coaling the steamer Orotava at the time of the accident, and they wore saved with difficulty. It is expected that tho vessel will be easily refloated. Received December 17. 1.10 a.m.
