Complete specifications relating to the following applications for letters patent have been accepted by the Patent Office-; J. A. Packer, Bridge street, Nelson— An invention entitled “J. A. Packer's new or improved adjustable artificial limb." J. R. Hart, bank clerk, Ashburton —An invention for improvement in hors© collars. Peter Ellis, mechanical engineer, Cathedral square, Christchurch—An invention for improvements in and relating to the undergear c.f rolling stock. William Keymer, plumber, Auckland —An invention entitled ” Keymer’a improved funnel attachment for the charcoal box-iron.” William Davidson, teacher, and S. G. Smith, both of Dunedin —An invention for improvements in sanitary paporholders. A. Durio, merchant, Dunedin—An invention for improvements in airtight canistercovers for coffee and spice. Joseph Gant, lately of Hastings, but now of Sydney—An invention for improved electric photographic time and position recorder, Alfred Bach, Auckland—An invention for a measure for liquids to be screwed on to the mouth of the tap, also a self-acting vent in connection therewith, J. C. Naismifch, engineer, Dunedin—-An improved portable seed or artificial manure sower. J. E. Friend, engineer, Wellington—An invention for improvement in steam boilers. J. F. Lloyd, enginedriver, Woolston, Canterbury—An improved adjustable fastening or coupling for driving belts. George Poll, miner, Lambton quay, Wellington—’An Invention for improvements in dredges. J. Henderson, saddler, Hawera A.n jinvention entitled “ Henderson's safety breeches.” Charles Cooper, dairy factory manager, Taranaki —An invention for aerating and cooling milk. R. Cockerell, blacksmith,Dunedin—-Improved sectional stop-drop perforated tables for saving gold, silver and other minerals. H. Gibson, settlor, Ngaire—An invention for improved composition for branding cattle, horses and sheep. Applications for letters patent with provisional specifications have been accepted as under; —A. Evans, engineer, Gore—An invention for improvements in attachment of endless belts. Henry G. Bedell, jun., tailor, and Luna Bedell, settler, both of Windsor place, Wellington—An invention for improved spouting dies. G. A. Fuller, butcher. Cathedral square, Christchurch — An invention for improved wool-washing machine. A* J* Park, solicitor, Dunedin —An invention for improvements in candles. W. Chalmers, blacksmith, Milburn —An invention entitled “ Chalmers’ Cyclone Lime-spreader/* W. Fairweather, engineer. Blenheim—An invention for a yielding beating-bar for flaxstrippers. J. W. Robertson, miner, Manse street, Dunedin, —An improved apparatus for saving gold. Walter Brown, blacksmith, Invercargill —An improved road - scoop handle. A. J. Cuming, Woolston, journalist—A simplex prop for bicycles. A. Storrie, engineer, Mataura —Improved apparatus for regulating the width of turnip drills, &c, J.
