Hsrfis, Vfh6 is well and popularly knotffi ifi the Awatore and Wairail Valleys; At the Church of St. Michael and All Angels, Christchurch, last week, Mr Henry Arthur Hauxioo, youngest son of the late Lord Hannan (who was president of the Parnell Commission and also a member of tho Behring Sea Commission), was married to Miss Mabel Gould, yoilagest daughter of the late Me George Gofild, of Christchurch. The cefQipbiiy was performed by tho Rev W. Averill, vicar of the parish, Mr Frederick M. Solomons, of Wellington, was married to Miss Lewis, daughter of Mr Gabriel Lewis, at the Synagogue, Auckland, last week. The bridesmaid was a sister of tho bride, Miss Sybil Lewis. The majority of tho Hebrew community were present, out of respect to Mr Lewis, who ia one of the oldest members of tho Synagogue. A reception was held subsequently at dowerby’s Hall, Symond street. ... .....
