The Committee reserve the right to have winners of handicaps at this mooting re-handi-capped, the extent of which shall not exceed 71b. All nominations, entries and acceptances (to be made in writing addressed to the Secretary at the “ Observer ” Office, Carterton) will be received up to the arrival of the late train from Wellington on the advertised date of the closing. No nominations or acceptances will be received on any pretence whatever unless accompanied by the necessary fee. 3. In all nominations for Handicaps, the name, age, pedigree, colour, sex, and previous performances of the horse, name of owner, and colours of rider must bo given. All horses to be ridden in distinguishing colours, and fines for not riding in colours on the card will be strictly enforced. GAT K TARIFF.
