The prospectus ot Nelson Brothers’ Produce Company will be issued in about 10 days. Tho consignors’ proportion of tho surplus profits will be about 75 per oont. Mblboubne, June 28. Government has appointed a commission to enquire into the alleged discovery ot foreign fats in Victorian butter in London. Special,—Received June 23, 7.30 p.m. London, June 27. The Manchester Committee, which is negotiating for the direct trade in frozen meat, states that if freights are' sent straight to Manchester, instead of via Loudon, ,£1 to £2 por ton will he saved throughout the district, including landing charges and delivery.
