Jackson and Co.’s Wanganui stock report (telegraphed to-night to the Times) is as follows The rough woathor prevented a number of advertised stock from corning to the yards. Wo sold wlmt wore penned at current prices. Wo bavo enquiry for good useful wethers and shorn lambs. Cattle—At Wavorloy; Cows, J*2 5s to £3 14s. At Wanganui ; Milch cows, .114 10s to £l l7s (id ; yearlings, 22s ; 18-month cattle, 37s ; 3-year steers, £3 10s. Sheep—At Wavorloy ; Wethers. 7s Pd to 8s (Id ; lambs, 4s. At Wanganui : Fat wethers, 9s; stores, 7s lid; fat owes, (Is Od to 7s ; others, 4s 4d to 5s lid ; 2-tooth owes, 7s lOd. Pigs—Small baconors, 28s to 31.4'; porkers, 15s to 20s ; smaller pigs, 9s to 11s od. The following is the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Aoency Company’s report of tho Addington market (telegraphed to-night to tho Times) j— Owing no doubt to tlio vory rough woathor wa have had for tho past week, entries in all classes were limited. The attendance of tho trade also was small, only those who wore in want of immediate supplies putting in an appearance. Fat cattle—Tho bidding for prirno steers was fully equal to last week, but for old cows and half fats there was Uttlo enquiry. Dost boof, 21s per 1901 b ; inferior to medium, 14s 0d to 17s. Store oattlo—Little doing; for tho few good sorts yarded, bidding was slightly brisker. Dairy cattle —No alteration. Pat sheep Tim entry was composed chiofiy of merinos and aged crossbred ewes, very few prime sheep being yarded. The sale taken all through was on an average of last week. Host crossbred wethers, llsCd to 13s 9d; medium, 9s 6d to 10s Od ; crossbreds, mixed soxos, 8s to 12a 9d ; owes, 7s Od to 13a ; merino wothora, Os 4(1 to 9s 9d. Store sbeop—Tho entry consisted principally of crossbred lambs and two-tooth. The bidding was fairly animated, and ratoq equalled those of hist week.
