SUPREME COURT.
Mr Justice Richmond was engaged in the Supreme Court yesterday in hearing a disputed will case. Julia Burke, wife of James Burke, on behalf of themselves and family and twoj grandchildren—Catherine and Mabel Ward —sought for letters of administration of a will of the late Mrs Catherine Mulligan (who was well known in Wellington) which was dated 12th September, 1891, in which the testatrix had bequeathed a life interest of her property to her husband, M. J. Mulligan (who formerly carried on business as a watchmaker and jeweller), the property afterwards to go to her sister Julia Burke, and afher death to be equally divided between Mrs Burke’s family and the two grandchildren, then in the convent. The case had not concluded when tho Court adjourned at 4.30, and it is to be resumed this morning.
