DIVORCE COURT.

His Honor Mr Justice Richmond presided at a sitting of the Divorce Court yesterday. ELVISES V. F.LVINEB. “In this case, Frank Elvines, boilermaker, who was represented by Mr Williams, applied for a dissolution of his marriage with Ella L. Elvines, on the grounds of her adultery with Frederick Marriott and Thomas J. Kerwin.. Neither the respondent nor the co-respondents appeared. A decree «tsi was granted with costs as against Kerwin. His Honor did not think the charge had been sheeted home against Marriott. MORRIS V. MORRIS. In this case Mr Skerrett produced the certificate of marriage, and His Honor granted a decree nisi. SANTI V. SANTI. This was a petition by the husband, Giovanni Santi, for a dissolution of his marriage with Ellen Elizabeth Prances Santi, on the grounds o! her adultery with Henry Joseph Milne, groom, Wellington. Mr Gray appeared for the petitioner, and Mr Skerrett for the respondent. The corespondent did not appear nor was he represented by counsel. The petitioner stated that he was employed by the Wellington Harbour Board. He was married to the respondent on the 19th July, 1892, but they had lived together as man and wife for eight years previously. he used to stay at home and look after the children. On one occasion she came homo at 2 in tho morning. She said she had boon to see a friend who was ill. About August, IS9I, she left him without giving any reason forgoing. She returned, however, and they wore by tho Registrar. They got along all right for about seven or eight months, and thou sho started to go out again at night, and in August, 1893, sho left him, taking all the children with her, and ho had since seen her with Milne on several occasions. Milne admitted ho was the father of her last child. The case was adjourned till next day.
