OPERA HOUSE CONCERT.

Tfy.e Worrien’s Social and Political League, who were fcTjo' prQuptors of the concert held at tho Opera Houso last* evening, are to bo congratulated upon the success which at* tended tholr efforts, despite the inclement weather. Tho downstairs portion of the theatre was crowded, while tho patrons of tho dress and family circles wore numerous. The stage was very effectively set, and tho proscenium entrances wore adorned with pot plants and ferns. Before the concert the Mayor (Mr C. Fulton, and a skirt dance by a young lady. The accompaniments were played by Mrs Mason and Miss Magihmty with accustomed taste.
