NEW ZEALAND CYCLISTS’ ALLIANCE. , By Telegraph.—Press Association. CnnisTCiiUKcir, May 21. At a meeting of tho New Zealand Cyclists’ Alliance to-night, tho question of holding tho cycling championships of New Zealand in coiJknotion with the Australasian AmateJjfAthletic Championship Meeting to bo held in Christchurch in January, 1890, was deferred to enable the delegates to got expressions of opinion from their clubs. The secretary was instructed to write to tho Brisbane Cycling Club in reference to bolding tho Australian championships alternately in Brisbane and Now Zealand. Strong objection was taken to several of the items in the balance-sheet of tho last Championships Athletic Cycling Meeting, held at Napier, and tho action of the executive in objecting to the sum of £45 5s 6d was approved. Either, champion cyclist of the Colony, has beoa selected by the Pioneer Bicycle Club to compete in the Australasian Cycling Championships at Brisbane in June next.
