THE ANNUAL TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, January 15. The annual tournament of the New Zealand Bowling Association commenced today, when three rounds of the rink tournament, for which there are 28 entries, were completed, and some progress made also with tho pairs tournament.

The second round of matches in the Club Pairs Tournament was completed yesterday afternoon on tho Wellington Bowling Green. The results are as follow :—Mentiplay and Grady (skip) beat Miller and L. Blundell (skip) by 21 to 10; Boyes and Russell beat Reich and Lawson by 24 to 19 j D. McLean and Drummond heat Haseldon and Haybittle by 21 to 16 j Riley and T. Scouliar boat Matbeson and Lockie by 21 to 10; Ougbton and Churchward boat J. Pothorick and Maudsloy by 21 to 6; Geddis and A. Campbell boat WhitehOnse (substitute for MoKeo) and J. Blundell by 21 to 18; N. McLean and Bush beat E. W. Petho rick and G. S. White by 21 to 20; Edwin and Lonsdale beat Plimmer and Tustin by 21 to 14.
