ENTOMBED IN A MINE.
AN ALARMING INRUSH OF WATER.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. — Copyright. Received January 16, 1 n.m. London, January 15. A sudden inrush of water in Giglake colliery, in Audley, Staffordshire, entombed 250 miners. One hundred and forty of them were rescued, and of the remainder eighty will probably be saved if they have been able to seek refuge in the "Upper reaches of the mine.
