The Mayor has received a telegram from tho Chairman of the Rotorua Town Board stating that 200 Arawas are leaving by train to-morrow to visit Auckland, and asking that hospitality may be accorded to them, and also that they may be shown tho sights of tho city. ■ , The Mayor has telegraphed asking what the phrase “ hospitality ” implies, and complaining of the short notice. ,-He has also telegraphed tho facts to the premier, and asked if ho will give a contribution towards entertaining the Natives.
