The Pall Mall Gazette gives publication to a rumour that Sir W. Vernon Hareourt has resigned the Chancellorship of the Exchequer, and that an early dissolution of Parliament is possible. Received January 8, 7.30 p.m. London, January 8. The report that Sir IV. V. Hareourt has resigned is denied.
