She anchored under Long Island for 101 hours owing to the heavy gale. She loft in the evening for South. The Tarawera loft Auckland at 1 pm on the 2nd instant, called at Gisborne on the 3rd and Napier on the 4th, arriving here at 9.30 am yesterday. She experienced strong southerly gale from Gisborne to Napier, thence to arrival strong southerly winds. She leaves for Southern ports to-day.
