THE NEW MINISTRY.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. — Copyright, Received August 3, 0.45 a.m. Sydney, August 2. Mr G. H. Reid will probably complete the formation of the new Cabinet to-night. It is understood that the following will he the allotment of portfolios : Premier and Treasurer, Mr G. H. Reid. Colonial Secretary, Mr J. N. Brunker. Public Works, Mr J. H. Young. Public Instruction, Mr J. Garrard. Mines Department, Mr Sydney Smith. Lands, Mr J. H. Garruthers. Justice, Mr A. J. Gould. Postmaster-General, Mr J. Cook (late Leader of the Labour Party). Attorney-General, Mr Simpson. Vice-President of the Executive, Hon W. H. Suttor, M.L.C. The only appointment in doubt is that of Mr Brunker, and if he declines it will render some alteration in portfolios necessary.
