"VTOTICE is hereby given that the following J3I resolution was passed by tho Wellington City Council at a special meeting held last evening at 7.30 p.m., viz.:— “ That this Council doth hereby resolve (by way of special order) that the course of part of Aro street bo diverted and altered, and tho street along the pipe track bo widened, as respectively shown on a plan signed by Arthur O’Neil O’Donahoo, under date of ninth October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three, and deposited in the public office of the Council; and that tho two strips of land coloured pink on the said plan, and lying on either side of the pipe track, and the parcel of land also colonred pink on such plan, leading from the pipe track to Aro street, be acquired for the purposes of such works, and that tho lands margined green in the same plan (representing the portion of Aro street out off by reason of such diversion and alteration of course as aforesaid) be on the acquisition of such lands coloured pink dealt with under section 236 of “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1886.” Tho above resolution will be confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the City Council, to be held on Thursday, the 21st day of June at 7.30 p.m. J.
