Taino and Co. report of their usual horse sale at their yards to-day There was a fair entry of horses, but buyers were by no means plentiful, and a number were passed unsold. For good young horses suitable for spring dray and express work, buyers ■were present, and up to -£ M- was offered 101 some good sorts, but sellers’ ideas of value were beyond that pnoe. Until the balance of Sydney consignments are cleared off we do not expect the market to improve. Quotations remain at about the same as last •week.
