It is very interesting reading to all old colonists to see.by the papers that there has been a heavy snowfall almost all over New Zealand duriog the past few days. It reminds them of the happy days in Britain when thny were children at school, and how they built ! snow men and snow castles in the play : grounds, and the old reminiscences of picking sides and having a regular snowball battle. Those days are very pleasant to look back on, but at the time it was never thought of how the germs of bronchitis, asthma and consumption were being absorbed into the system. In this Colony, where we get no decided climate or a long spall of fresh, clear winter weather, it is mo*t easy to upset the constitution.
