No entry shall bo received for any race except upon the condition that all claims, deputes, and objections shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint, and their decision upon all points shall be final, . 2. All nominations, entries, and aoospt. ances, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, must be addressed and delivered to the Secretary not later than the advertised time of closing, with performanoes, pedigree, and colours of tho rider. 4. No entry will be received under ary pretence whatever after tho hour named. 5. Horses walking over will only receive 50 per cent of the stakes. 6. Tho Stewards reserve the right to alter the day of meeting, tho amount of added money, to mase any addition or alteration to the meeting at any time prior to the nominations becoming due for such meeting, subject to tho approval of tho Wellington Racing Club. 7. Hacks shall mean horses that have never won on advertised s'ake at the date of meeting (hack and hunter raoes oxoepted) and that are not nominated for a Derby, Guineas, St Legor, or Sapling Stakes at the time of start.
