PICTORIAL SUPPLEMENT.
We have pleasure in announcing that arrangements have been made to present to our readers, at early dates yet to be fixed, four chromo-lithograph pictorial supplements, consisting of views of the town and harbour from different points, surrounded by views of individual business houses. The supplements will be printed in Australia by a new process by a BalUrat firm who are making a specialty of this kind of work. The commercial clement of the business is being attended to by Mr Wellesley A. Parker, who ia described as * king of advertising contractors, 1 Mr Parker of course arranges for the views of business premises us advertisements. Only a limited number will be taken, and we have no doubt that the spaces will be eagerly sought after. We have seen a portfolio of such supplements prepared for different towns in Australia, and found them of high class work and in a variety of styles. As the principal picture in each sheet will be a view of the city, the supplement will be an excellent thing to send to friends at a distance, to give them an idea of the place, in gaining which the pictures of separate business houses will materially assist. The views of the town will be taken by an artist, and therefore will give a more truthful idea of it than a photograph can do.
