OUTBREAK OP TYPHOID ON BOARD SHIP.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Christchurch, February 21
A fen' day. ago blk seamen belonging to the four-masted ship Hinemcs, which arrived in Lyttelton Igat week from Wellington, were admitted to the Christchurch Hospital apparency suffering from typhoid, supposed to have been caused through drinking bad water in Wellington. Tonight it waa ascertained that two of the men ore suffering from an attack of typhoid fever, while the othere showed alight symptoms of suffering from the same disease. To-day a telegram waa forwarded by the Mayor of Lyttelton to the Colonial Secretary on the snbject, and a reply was reoeved to the effect thst the matter would be coneidered by the Cential Board of Health at Wellington to morrow.
