Mr Samuel Roulston, the well known merchant, died at about 1 o'clock to-day. He had been ailing for a considerable time, and the end was not unexpected, Palmerston Isoeth, July 21.
The body o£ Charles Penny, who was drowned while endeavouring to cross the river near Woodvillo some time ago, was found in the Manawatu River this afternoon.
Chkistchoboh, July 21.
Charles Al/isan, aged 72, an old resident, who c«me here in 1856, died suddenly this morning, apparently from a fit of apoplexy, to which he was subject.
