The attendance of both Home and foreign buyers is good and competition is active. The total quantity available, including wool held over from last series, is 446,000 bales, 58,000 of which have been forwarded to the manufacturing districts direct. Murray, Roberts and Co. were yesterday in receipt of the following cable message from their London friends, Messrs Sanderson, Murray and Co., regarding the wool sales : —The sales opened with a good attendance of buyers.
