BANKRUPTCY COURT.
His Honor Mr Justice Richmond presided at the Bankruptcy Court yesterday. The application for discharge by W. R. Waters, merchant, was adjourned till Tuesday next, so as to permit of His Honor conferring with the Chief Justice as to the position of the case before the Court. The application for discharge by W. G. Eraeny, hotelkeeper, was granted. Similar applications on behalf of W. H. Frabyn, labourer, W. Meroer, fisherman, Thoe. G. Pasooe, clothier, were struck out, as the debtors did not appear. The application for discharge by Charles Fish Fox, plumber, was adjourned till next sitting of the Court, in order to allow of an affidavit being filed. His Honor ordered the application of Lawrence McGovern, oah proprietor, to be held over till next sitting in chambers, or to the next sitting of the Bankruptcy Court. The bankruptcies of the following persons were declared closed : William Thomas Pomfrey, glue manufacturer ; William Naylor, expressman ; Ellen Cole and Rebecca Lewis, boardinghouse keepers. His Honor allowed the costs of the Official Assignee’s solicitor in the estate of Peter Hutson, contractor. The Court was then adjourned HU Monday, July 13tb, at 10.30 a.m.
