Messrs harcourt & co. ar ß favoured with instructions from the Union Bank of Australia, Limited, to sell by public auction, at their rooms, Lambtou quay, on Friday, the Bth day of May, 1691, at 2.30 p.m., the property and effects known as Pomfrey and Co.'s Manure and Glue Works, consisting of freehold and leasehold land, horses, carts, machinery, plant, goods, chattels, and effects, hereinafter specified, viz FREEHOLD. Lot I—All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement two acres, more or less, being part of Section No. 5 on the record map of the Porirua District, LEASEHOLD. One ten horse power tubular boiler mounted on brickwork, two digesters or vats, one disentigrator, one bone crushing machine, one screw press, one marine boiler, two 600 gallon coppers with worms, three 400 gallon tonka with taps, two sifting machines, 150 frames of glue drying (more or leas), boiler fittings, three cooling vats, 20 glue moulds’, eight wooden working casks, one six horse* power vertical engine, one donkey engine ; also, belting fittings, two spring drays, one spring trap, two seta spring dray harness, one set spring trap harness, two cart horses, now in upon the land hereinbefore described. The whole property is in good working order, and is specially adapted for carrying on the business of a manure and glue manufacturer, and lias until recently been used for that purpose by W. T. Pomfrey, trading as Pomfrey & Co. The property will be sold in two lota—the machinery, plant, goods, chattels, horses, and effects in the first lot ; and the land in the second lot.
