RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. The above programme is confined to hacks only, and for the purposes of this meeting the definition of a hack is as follows A horse that has never, at any time, won a race ot any description, hack and hunter races excepted. 2. All races will bo run under tie New Zealand Rules of Racing, as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of the Colony. 3. All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary fees' payable, must be in the hands of the Secretary by S p.m. on the advertised dates of closing, unless otherwise specified. 4. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. Horses walking over will only receive 60 per cent of the stake. 5.
