SATURDAY, MAY IG.—Acceptances for Trial Handicap, Stewards’ Handicap, First Hurdle Handicap, and Horowhenua Cup, also entries for Selling Race. RULES AND REGULATIONS. X. The above programme is confined to hacks only, and for the purposes of this meeting the definition of a hack U as follows :—Ahorse that has gever, at any time, won a race ot any description, back and hunter races excepted. 2. All races will be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing, as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of the Colony. 3. All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary fees; payable, mast be in the hands of the Secretary by &p.m. on the advertised dates of closing, unless other*, wise specified. 4. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. Horses walking over will only receive 50 per cent of the stake. 5.
