Messrs harcourt & co. are favoured with instructions frcm the Union Bank of Australia, Limited, to soil by public auction, at their rooms, Lambtoa quay, on Friday, the Sth day of May, 1891, tha property and effects known as Pomfrey and Co.’s Manure and Glue Works, consisting of freehold and leasehold land, horses, carts, machinery, plant, goods, chattels, and effects, hereinafter apecided, viz, : FREEHOLD. Lot I—All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement two acres, more or less, being part of Section No. 5 on the record map of the Porirua District, LEASEHOLD. Lot 2.—A1l that pat cel of land, being part of Section No. 10 on the record map of the Harbour District, containing by admeasurement throe roods and three perches, held under deed of lease dated the 15th March, 18S9, Reg. 57,100, made, between James Futtcr (therein described) of tha one part, and William Thomas Pomfrey (therein described) of the other part, for a term of 21 years (except the last three days thereof), together with the right of way mentioned in the said deed of lease, and subject ns to the stream running through the said land to all rights and tenancies existing therein, at the annual rental of £25, and subject to the covenants, oendit'ons, and agreements in the said deed of lease contained and implied. Lot 3—All that parcel of land, containing two roods and nineteen perches, being other part of the said section No, 10 on the Record Map of the Harbour District, held under deed of lease dated the 25th September, 1889, Reg. 58,879, made between the said J. MACHINERY, &c. Lot 4 One ten horse-power tubular boiler mounted ou brickwork, two digesters or vote, one diaentigratar, one bone crushing machine, one screw press, one marine boiler, two 600 gallon coppers with worms, three 400 gallon tanka with taps, two silting machines, 150 frames of glue drying (more or leas), boiler fittings, three ooo'ing vats, 20 glue moulds, eight wooden working casks, one six horsepower vertical engine, one donkey engine; also, belting fittings, two spring drays, one spring trap, two sets spring dray harness, one set spring trap harness, two cart horses, now in upon the land hereinbefore described. The whole property Is in good working order, and is specially adapted for carrying on the business of a manure and glue manufacturer, and has until recently been used for that purpose by W. T. All races will be run under the New Zealand Rules of Racing, as adopted by the Metropolitan Clubs of the Colony. 3. All nominations, entries, and acceptances, accompanied by the necessary fees payable, must be in the hands of the Secretary by 8 p.m. on the ad vertised dates of closing, unless otherwise specified. 4. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes. Horses walking over will only receive 50 per cent of the stake. 5.
