FASHIONABLE MARRIAGE.

The marriage of Mr W. T. Locke Travers to Miss Theodosia Leslie Barclay was solemnised yesterday at St. Peter's Church by the RovVV. C. Waters. The bride, who is tbo eldest daughter of Captain William M. de R. Barclay, of Wellington (late of H.M.'s 24th Foot Regiment), and granddaughter of tho late Sir David William, Barclay, Bart., was given away by her father, her bridesmaids being the Misses Constance and Ethel Barclay, Maude, Isabel, end Ida Coleridge, and Alice Travers, all of whom wore drosses of embroidered white muslin with heliotrope sashes and ribbons * they also each wore a handsome brooch, tho gift of tho bridegroom. Among others present were Mrs Barclay, mother of the bride, Mrs Coleridge, daughter of Mr Travers, and bis daughter-in-law, Mrs Henry Travers. The bride's dross was of ivory white satin mervoilloux, trimmed with Maltese )aco and orange blossoms, her veil being of tnlle, richly embroidered with flowers in floss ailk fastened with a pearl star. The other ornaments were a gold collar and pendant, with bracelets to match, gifts of the bridegroom. She carried a large and handsome bouquet of choice dowers presented to her by Mr Mason, o! theTaita. Captain Beamish, late of Her Majesty's 14th Foot, acted as “best man” to tho bridegroom. At tbo close of tho ceremony the wedding party drove to Captain Barclay's residence where breakfast was partaken of, and in the afternoon the newly-married couple left for a trip to tho southern lakes.
