MAYORAL ELECTIONS.
WELLINGTON. Nominations for the city mayoralty were received on Monday as follows:—Mr'C. F. Worth, nominated by Messrs W. Wallis and John Mackenzie ; Mr A. W. Brown, nominated by Messrs Alexander Wilson and Charles Hill. The poll will be held on Wednesday, the 26th inst. ONSLOW BOROUGH. Mr Wilson Littlejohn was nominated for the mayoralty of this borough, by Messrs G. Clark and F. Da Castro; and Mr A. Cameron by Messrs Bergin and Gardener. The poll will ba held on the 26th inst. PITONE. Mr R» C. Kirk was re-elected unopposed for the mayoralty of this borough. MELROSE. Mr J. H. Heaton was on Tuesday re-elected Mayor of Maltose, on the nomination of the Hon. P. A. Buckley and Mr C. E. Zohrab, New Plymouth, November 17. For the mayoralty Measis Govett and Bellringer have been nominated. Westport, November 17. Mr John Marshall was to-day elected Mayor, unopposed. Dunedin, November 17. Councillors Carroll and Sinclair were nominated for tbe city mayoralty. Timaru, November 17Mr D. M. Ross was re-elected unopposed for a third term to tbe mayoralty. ' Thames, November 18. Mr Jaa. Macandrew was to-day re-elected unopposed as Mayor of the Thames. Christchurch, November 18. The following are the mayoral nominations :—Christchurch—Mr Manning (present Mayor) and Councillor Gray. St. Allans— Mr Neate, present Mayor, is unopposed. Sydenham—The present Mayor is unop. posed. Nelson, November 18, Messrs Albert Pitt and Francis Trask have been nominated for the mayoralty. Masterton, November 18. Tbe following gentlemen were nominated for the mayoralty: —Messrs G, S. W. Dalrymple, John Hessey, and C. A. Pownall,
