Tho Egmont Agricultural and Pastoral Show is well attended. The sheep and horses are good, but pnre*bred cattle are very weak. There ate several pens of excellent fat cattle. The champion Lincoln ram is one shown by E. Bremer, and the champion ewe belongs to W. S. Watt, The Romney Marsh champion ram and ewe are owned by Mr Code, and those of the Down bred classes by Wilson Bros., who have a walk-over. In fat sheep there Is poor competition. Champion draught horse, J. D. Mitchell’s Director; thoroughbred entire, Mr Nolan’s Gipsy King, by Le Loup— Gitana; champion mare, Mrs Copeland’s yearling Prioress, by Puriri—Voltarina.
