(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Greymouth, April 17. Robert Ramsey, a well-known miner, while working a sluicing claim at Lower Taylorville, was caught by a fall of earth and roots yesterday afternoon, and died in a few hours after being extricated. He leaves a wife and two children. Hew Plymouth, April 17. The Supreme Court opened this morning. The cases are unimportant. The case of Smith, for stealing a watch, is now going on. Westport, April 17At the Resident Magistrate’s Court this morning Thomas Dollman, late secretary of the Denniston Oddfellows’ Lodge, was charged with the larceny of the funds, and remanded. Dunedin, April 17. Mrs Campbell, widow of Mr Robert Campbell, died this morning. • She was sister-in-law of Mr Humphreys, M.H.R.
