A CASE OF DAMAGES.
(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Blenheim, April 14. Evidence is being taken before the Registrar of the Supreme Court in Wystrom v. Cameron for transmission to Christchurch. The plaintiff is an A.B. on board the Brahmin, and it is alleged that ha was severely injured on that vessel in Lyttelton through the defendant’s men fastening the guy rope to a tye-bolt, which caused the heavy sling to jerk violently aft, and strike the plaintiff. The claim is fot»£7so damages. The captain and officers Brahmin were examined, as the ship leaves Picton for London to-morrow.
