(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLANdICc. MEETING. Auckland, January 2. The Auckland Racing Club concluded their summer meeting to-day. There was •gain a large attendance. The racing was excellent. Kneecap waa made favourite for the Steeplechase, bnt the country was too severe for him, whilst Chemist, who was ' greatly fancied, fell at the first hurdle. Grand Stand Handicap ; one mile and a half.—Leopold, Bst 3lb, 1; Ahtelope, 7et 11b, 2 : Raglan, 7st 121 b, 3. Fabulous also started. Won easily by a length and' a half. Time, 2mio 39|aeo.
